Avio DVD utilizes the same powerful DVD-Arabesk and DVD-Dicon technology that has met with such success in the Casablanca Prestige and Kron. The new outer case takes styling cues from the Kron and Prestige, and makes for a much sturdier Avio unit. The following new features have been integrated into Casablanca Avio DVD:

• DVD writer including the "DVD-Arabesk" software for writing DVDs in DVD-R format (once writable) and DVD-RW (multiple writable).

• "DVD-Dicon" technology with real-time video conversion of DV-direct projects (only available with DV-option).

• The high quality silver casing features a fold-down faceplate to access the DVD writer.

• "Whisper Edit" cooling concept for considerable noise reduction during operation.

• Integrated VGA option for connecting the unit to two monitors (either used as a single monitor solution or two-monitor suite).

• 40 GB hard drive (Upgradeable to an 80GB).
