These are from Christmas 1999.  The first picture is the one that we sent our in our Christmas cards.  The second picture was created by Marlisa as a page in the "Heidi Baby Book".  Yes, Heidi has her own baby book (actually two volumes now!).  Marlisa started scrapbooking a couple of years ago, and Heidi's albums seem to be the most fun to create.  If you'd like to get involved in scrapbooking, and/or Creative Memories (TM), we can put you in touch with Marlisa's consultant. The third picture here was sent over the net to our friends and family when Heidi was raising pledges for the Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell Run in Janesville, WI. Heidi raised enough pledges that Mounds Pet Food Warehouse matched her pledges with a gift certificate. She earned over $250.00 for the Arthritis Foundation and she bought herself an underground dog fence and a bunch of toys at Mounds.

Easter 1999.
Heidi and Dolly (our 9 year old bunny) were sure a  pair.  They both loved each other very much.  Dolly started turning around in the basket and looking behind the two of them, and Michael kept turning the basket around the other way.  The poor bunny was sure confused for a few minutes. Dolly died in 1990, and we all (Heidi included), miss the little thumper! Rest in peace my little cotton-tail sasquach (bigfoot)!

HEIDI ON THE NEWS!!

Heidi, a/k/a "Sir Heids-A-Lot",  made FOX 47's news, during Marti Gras week 2000, when she participated in the "Mardi Paws" celebration held by the Three Dog Bakery of Madison.  We were delighted to see her on the news!  It sure made us proud parents!

What do two people do when they have entirely NO time on their hands?  They create outrageous props for their dog to carry around.  This edition was dubbed the "Bone-A-Cator 2000".  Heidi again participated in a party at the Madison, WI Three Dog Bakery.  This time it was the "Surfs Pup Beach Party."  Heidi came as a beach comber, complete with her own bone detector.  She won first prize in the costume contest.  We were not surprised!  What a HAM!
